I've been building and breaking things for as long as I can remember, but only lately have I successfully produced local-first peer-to-peer applications. I would like to walk you through the experience, architecture, choices and limitations of the stack I used.

The app in this example is called Scala - a calendar application where anyone can create a calendar, share it with others, manage editors etc. It can be secured with Keycard (a hardware wallet) and works across Android and Desktop (via Logos Basecamp).

You'll leave with a practical sense of where this stack shines, where it hurts, and whether it's worth adopting for your own projects.
